Survived By: Her husband of 28 years, Daniel Meier; their children, Jesse, Lisa, Sally, James, Daniel, Stephen, Haley, and Angelina; grandchildren, Sequoia, Jaycee, Daniel, Asher, Cypress, Bentley, Rider, and Ellis; five sisters, Kendra, Susan, Denise, Lori, and Amy; and parents Franklin and Jacqueline Bender.

May 3, 1961- Mar 3, 2015 Stephanie Renee' Meier was born in Sacramento, CA and moved when she was eight to Spokane where her father, Lieutenant Colonel Frank Bender, was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base. She attended St. Thomas Moore Parochial School, Mead High School and received her AA degree in Architectural Drafting from Spokane Community College. As a child, Renee' loved to be outdoors and enjoyed sports, camping, hiking and swimming in the Little Spokane River. She was a member of the Spokane Mountaineers Racing Team, where she was known to out-ski the boys. She loved to bake and made beautiful birthday cakes for her eight children. She was artistic and loved to draw and paint. Her children will always remember the sweet lullabies she sang to them as well as her being compassionate, encouraging, adventurous, beautiful, kind and always loving. Renee' is survived by her husband of 28 years, Daniel Meier; their children, Jesse, Lisa, Sally, James, Daniel, Stephen, Haley, and Angelina; grandchildren, Sequoia, Jaycee, Daniel, Asher, Cypress, Bentley, Rider, and Ellis; five sisters, Kendra, Susan, Denise, Lori, and Amy; and parents Franklin and Jacqueline Bender. The family would like to thank all those who befriended, watched-over and cared for Renee'. Especially those at Women's Hearth of Transitions, Hope House, Blessings Under the Bridge and The Union Gospel Mission. There will be two public Memorial Services on Wednesday, March 11, 2015; the first will be at The Women's Hearth, 920 Second Avenue, Spokane, WA at 3:30pm. The second will be held at Blessings Under the Bridge on 4th and McClellan at 6pm. -
