William Warrick "Bill" GAFFNEY (01/24/1961 - 09/03/2014) 

GAFFNEY, William Warrick "Bill" William "Bill" Warrick Gaffney passed away peacefully at Sacred Heart Hospital on September 3, 2014. Bill was born January 24, 1961 in Alturas, California. He is survived by his wife Becky; daughters, Jessica, Cassidy and Sophie; and his son Ayden. Also survived by his mother, Karen Muzzy; father, Edward "Duke" Gaffney (Nelda); his brothers, Mike Gaffney (Tami), Shaun Muzzy, and Jon Pool, sisters, Terri (Darryl) Christensen, Jenny (Blake) Harp, Shari (Mike) Muzzy-Williamson, Kathy (Bill) Meister, and Dawn Exline (Tom Rish); plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Muzzy; and his grandparents, Melvin "Tug" and Dorothy Warrick, and Arthur and Irene Gaffney. As a teenager Bill was one of the top junior golfers in Spokane. He earned the honor of caddying for Arnold Palmer during the first Junior League of Spokane Golf Exhibition that was held at the Spokane Country Club, this was one of his fondest memories throughout his life. Bill was the Assistant to the General Manager of the Las Vegas Stars Triple A Baseball team in the Pacific Coast League. He left that position to come to work at the family business (Credit Bureau of Spokane). The last 14 years he has been the Assistant Golf Professional at the Wandermere Golf Course. Bill loved spending time with his family and working on his golf swing and he will always be remembered as an amazing father, son, brother, uncle and friend, and will be eternally missed by all. A private inurnment service for family will be held on Friday, September 12th at 11am in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery and Funeral Center, 7200 N. Wall Street, followed by a Celebration of Life for friends and family that will be held at Wandermere Golf Course at 12:30 pm.
